Blizzard has the following changes planned for Season 2:

For Season 3 and beyond, we're looking at a mix of Fight Pass changes, more fascinating Obstacles to pursue, and more interesting play-focused development systems for you all to go into, Neuss said. We'll be able to talk about some of these modifications soon, however other modifications may take more time to lock-in.

In Season 2, we have actually altered our rewards a bit so that each event has a skin you can earn by playing, in addition to the other cosmetic rewards we currently provide, Neuss stated. We're also going to continue our Twitch drops programs so that you can make skins and in-game goodies by supporting your favorite creators. While we're working on the long-lasting plans, we desire approaching seasons to feel more gratifying than Season 1.

Neuss' comments about prepare for Overwatch 2 came in the middle of the release of an upgrade that adjusted six different heroes ahead of the broader modifications prepared for Season 2. That upgrade (and the return of Ma) was delayed for a brief time, however it got back on track soon enough and is now out for all players to download.

That's to prepare for Season 2 which is set up to begin on December 6th. Beyond that, Neuss stated the group had more prepare for fight pass change ups along with more obstacles for gamers to pursue.
