Overwatch 2 Beta Multiplayer Guide: How to play with friends

The monitoring 2 beta is a big event, but what is a team -based shooter without playing with your friends? Since you only have to look at a Twitch stream for the entry into the beta for four hours, many people and their friends have entered. When opening the beta, however, the players noticed that the user interface was severely restricted and that some functions were missing. This was to be expected because it was a pure PvP beta, but one of the missing features was the large social button from the original Overwatch. Let's look at how you can invite your friends to play with them in Overwatch 2.

How to invite friends to play with them in Overwatch 2

Inviting your friends to your party in Overwatch 2 to play with you may seem a bit confusing at first glance, but it's really easy. It is by no means as confusing as learning the new hero Sojourn. If you are in the menu, you may expect the large social button from the original Overwatch, which would lead you to your friend list so that you can create your group. What you have to click instead now is the small game symbol next to your name in the top right corner of the screen.

This gives you the social menu, which you remember from the original Overwatch, and from here it is the same as in the original. You just have to right -click on the friend you invite or who you want to join, and select the corresponding option in the opening menu. It's very easy if you know where you have to go, but if you don't have the social button in the main menu, you can really throw it off track if you expected it.

This does not mean that it will be in the final version of Overwatch 2, this is only the beta and there are currently a lot of content. Half of the line-up still has concept drawings for your symbols instead of the in-game models used. In addition, many of the actors receive new standard skins in order to reflect these concept art pictures. If you need further help for Overwatch 2, be sure to read our other instructions.
