Overwatch 2: Blizzard corrects the error of the rankeds that placed many players in bronze 5

After your 7 victories, your range was revealed and... surprise: you are bronze 5 while in the original OW you were at least gold or diamond! The goal has changed, of course, the characters too, but from there to go so low?

Be sure that Blizzard has indicated that it is a great error that has now corrected thanks to the tonight patch. Now, a bonus is activated that allows to raise some ranges more easily.

  • Many players received a qualification too low during the first week of Overwatch 2, so an impulse has been implemented as players continue to play for those affected by this problem
  • The players who were in a classification too low could feel that they were trapped in that classification. In the future, players should be able to rise from rank in their first rank update, assuming that they are destined to be higher depending on performance
  • Players who have not been classified will not experience this problem after this patch

There will be no heroes rebalancing until season 2

The other important information of this blog post refers to the rebalancing of the heroes. Developers are aware that some characters like Sojourn or Genii are monstrous compared to others, but in general they are happy with their current state. The balance is planned, but it will not happen until season 2 begins in December. Only Zara will change on October 25 during the great Halloween update.
